A struggling writer recently engaged to the girl of his dreams must choose between penning his masterpiece of saving the life of the one he loves in director Alec Tuckman's nightmarish tale of psychological horror. Todd Truman is a writer who longs to experience a true taste of success. But despite the fact that Todd's career isn't going nearly as well as he would like, his relationship with beautiful fiancée Jennifer couldn't be better: not only is the couple deeply in love, but they will soon begin their lifelong journey together as husband and wife. The close the wedding gets, however, the more unraveled Jennifer seems to become. Unable to sleep due to terrifying nightmares, Jennifer's sanity begins to slip as Todd uses her deteriorating mental condition as the foundation for his next novel. When a local literary agent catches wind of the project, it begins to appear as if Todd has a bestseller on his hand.
