American soldiers risked their lives when entering the Vietnam War but, for some, imprisonment turned into a nightmare worse than death. Prisoners of Hope details the story of ten prisoners of war who survived an internment camp in one of the deadliest battles in history. These soldiers tell of abuses ranging from starvation to torture. Some were imprisoned for years with no sign of release or even acknowledgement of their condition. It was hope that fed these men.
