In yet another incarnation of the popular Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers format, a group of misfit students at a ninja academy find themselves in the position of saving humankind when the earth is attacked by aliens. Using the mysterious "storm and thunder" powers taught to them by the Ninja Master, the kids do battle with the evil Lothor and his minions.
