Ocean Park
The hunger for success forces a failed actor to cover-up a murder he believes to have been committed by his more successful brother-in-law in director David Warfiend's tense meditation on the high toll taken by fame on the human soul. Will (Kenneth Hughes) has been to the top and he wants to go back. His best days before the camera far behind him, the most that Will can seem to get out of life these days is a little free sex from acting student and eager up-and-comer Jolette (Alexandra Wilson). After Jolette ends up dead and Will attempts to cover up the crime to help out his screen-star brother-in-law Rick (Jonathan Aubé), the misconstrued ruse takes a disastrous turn as Jolette's twin sister Davia enlists the aid of cool cop Kenny (Marcus Dead Fuller) in cracking the case. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide
