This six-film collection is an inventive, musical interpretation of Mozart's classics as written by composers other than Mozart. The musical vignettes include "#N*t M*zart," "Bring Me the Head of Amadeus," "Letters, Riddles and Writs," "M is for Man, Music, and Mozart," "Warm Ltd," and "Scipio's Dream." Among the composers are H.K. Gruber, Michael Nyman, Mathias Ruegg, Judith Weir, Misha Mengelberg, and Louis Andriessen, while Pat Gavin, Jeremy Newson, Peter Greenaway, Ernst Grandits, Margaret Williams, and Anthony Garner make up the directors. ~ Tracie Cooper, All Movie Guide
