A woman tracking a dangerous criminal discovers the criminal may be tracking her as well in this thriller. Trish Burchall (Kelly McGillis) is an investigative reporter whose latest assignment has her tracking a serial killer who has been murdering young women and then moving on to kill their families. While Burchall feels the people have the right to know about the danger this killer poses to them, the local authorities are trying to keep their investigation under wraps and refuse to cooperate with her. The more Burchall learns about this violent lunatic and his sick ideas about the typical family, the more uneasy she becomes, and with good reason -- she soon has reason to believe that she and her daughter could be his next victims.
