Gwyneth Gibby directs the Roger Corman-produced release of Nightfall, a straight-to-video release based on the highly acclaimed science fiction story by Isaac Asimov. Filmed in India, the story takes place on a planet that lives in the constant light of six suns. Every thousand years, the suns disappear during an eclipse and the population experiences darkness for the first time. The opposing forces of the planet become overwhelmed with fear and start a violent war. Jennifer Burns and Winsome Brown are the protagonists.
