The video contains the TNT Network special, NBA at 50, in its entirety, a segment on the 50 greatest players in NBA history, and a music video salute to basketball's leading figures, performed by Vanessa Williams. The NBA at 50 is hosted by Academy Award winner Denzel Washington and contains more than 100 interviews with basketball legends and their coaches. Interviewees recall important events from the past five decades, including the inception of the league in 1946. Editors combed through more than 1,000 hours of film from archives around the country to produce this definitive look at the highlights and history of the NBA.
