Two friends fight over a woman who isn't especially interested in either of them in this musical comedy from India. Samir (Salman Khan) is a good-looking lifeguard who could have his pick of any girl on the beach; however, he only has eyes for Rani (Priyanka Chopra), a beautiful woman who lives in the same apartment building as him. Rami is trying to establish herself as a designer, and her romance takes a back seat to her career, at least for now. This doesn't stop Samir from trying to win her heart, but he soon discovers he has competition -- his friend and roommate, Sunny (Akshay Kumar), has also fallen for Rami and is doing his darndest to steal her out from under his buddy. Both men have to contend not only with a resistant woman but her eccentric father (Amrish Puri), who doesn't believe that any man is good enough for his daughter.
