In this follow up to Divergence Eve, the Watcher's Nest were able to use the "exodus" long-distance time warp procedure to escape the final experiment on Earth. Anchored on the moon, they get a clear view of the Earth and see that it is surrounded by a time barrier, with time running amok inside. Different eras of history are colliding, nearing a chaotic breaking point -- and that is where Misaki is trapped.
