A rare set of photographic plates is making its way through Tokyo and naturally, something worth a hefty pile of money attracts the attention of Lupin, the world's greatest thief. The job is too good to pass up, but it looks like he'll have to let Fujiko and Goemon in on a generous portion of the deal or else risk going it alone. Things soon get complicated, however, as a reporter named Maria, who appears to be psychic, finds her own role in the mix with the unfair advantage of being able to see the future!
