Because of her lack of family, a boyfriend, or even pets, Fong (Miriam Yeung), a rookie police officer, is considered expendable enough to go undercover with the Serious Crime Unit. Her first assignment is to eavesdrop on Man (Daniel Wu), a suspected underworld figure. Through a series of comic mix-ups, her target falls in love with her.
