Let's Go With Pancho Villa constitutes a long-lost period epic from Mexican director Fernando de Fuentes -- oft-hailed in his native country as an indigenous John Ford thanks to the vast, sweeping vistas on which he shot. Originally filmed and released in 1936, Let's Go With Pancho Villa interweaves the stories of six valiant young warriors who leave behind their hometowns and march off together to fight under the titular Mexican super-warrior and bandit. A 30-year stylistic and thematic precursor to John Sturges' Magnificent Seven and Sam Peckinpah's Wild Bunch, Let's Go remained buried and virtually unknown for decades, but has now resurfaced for the first time in a home release.
