Fitness expert Kathy Smith offers another take on the fat-burning workout craze. The workout is divided into two sections, or waves, which are 18 minutes long. Each wave provides an intense aerobic segment as well as a weight routine -- a combination that boosts the metabolism and allows for maximum fat burning. The two waves can be combined into one 50-minute routine or can be done separately for shorter workouts.
