In this shoujo-ai anime focuses on the relationship between two girls named Chikane and Himeko, who attend a school tucked deep within a beautiful forest. The two are reincarnations of the Solar and Lunar Miko, priestesses whose love for each other is as strong as their sense of duty to the higher power. Their pleasant days are disrupted, however, when an ancient evil known as the Orochi begins attacking them, threatening them both with death and destruction. Now, the darkest forces of the universe threaten to kill them both, and only their devotion to each other can save their school and the world -- unless it manages to drive a wedge between them.
