Intriguing facts are given about such explorers as Columbus, Balboa, de Soto, Champlain, Sir Francis Drake, Henry Hudson, James Cook, Daniel Boone, Robert Gray, Lewis and Clark, Charles Wilkes, John Fremont, and many others.
