A man on the outs with both the law and the underworld begins playing detective to solve a murder in this crime drama. Jules Rimero is a boxer whose career has hit the skids. He's short on both money and self-respect when he unexpectedly reconnects with one of his former girlfriends, for whom he still carries a torch. Eager to make some fast money, Jules allows himself to be talked into helping out with a drug deal, but when things go sour, he finds he's wanted by the law and the gangsters who set up the deal have a price on his head. Jules goes on the lam until he discovers the woman he loved has been brutally murdered; against all odds, he's determined to find out who killed her and get justice against them.
