An athlete who found her celebrity niche as one of the most sought-after physical trainers for the stars, Jeanette Jenkins quickly racked up a list of A-list Hollywood clients including Queen Latifah, Oprah Winfrey, Terrell Owens, and Taryn Manning. Raised in Canada by a single mother, Jenkins gravitated to sports and workouts at an early age as a tool for self-discipline; as an adult, she gained teaching certification in numerous athletic activities and exercise forms including swimming, treadmill training, weight training, yoga, and hiking. Circa 2002, Jenkins founded her own corporation, christened The Hollywood Trainer, L.L.C., and set up to impart her personal philosophies of physical fitness to millions, largely through an extensive array of fitness tools and workout videos, then extended her on-camera work in a slightly different direction (and beyond the boundaries of at-home exercise programs) as a resident expert on the Food Network's do-it-yourself weight-loss program Weighing In.
