Part of the long-running British mystery series based on the stories by Colin Dexter, Inspector Morse: Day of the Devil first aired in the U.K. in 1993. In this thrilling case, the murderous rapist John Peter Barrie (Keith Allen) escapes from the prison. The severely mentally ill Barrie sets up traps for the Oxford police and soon the town is overcome with Satanist activities.
