How to Draw Comics from Script to Print
Two veteran comic book illustrators - Write Now editor-in-chief Danny Fingeroth and EIC artist and Draw! magazine mainstay Mike Manley - team up to co-headline the instructional video How to Draw Comics from Script to Print, which provides viewers with a step-by-step blueprint for designing their own original comics. The program first carries viewers into a brainstorming session conducted by Fingeroth and Manley, where they join forces to conceive the basic ideas and storyline for a new comic and new characters. Fingeroth then describes the fundamentals of scripting for at-home audiences, and Manley guides viewers through the stages of layout, sketching, inking, coloring and lettering, with lengthy on-camera visualizations of the process. This program is intended as a "companion piece" to the crossover between the magazine issues Write Now #8 and Draw! #9. ~ Nathan Southern, All Movie Guide
