Millions of Americans every year travel to Europe to visit the many historical sites. Food Network Television host Bill Boggs travels to the Normandy beachheads of Northern France and to Britain's World War II battle sites, providing the viewer with tips on what to see at these sites, advice on routes and lodging accommodations, as well as explanations of some of the local customs and valuable stories about the significance and importance of the various sites. This includes their historical impact, who won and lost, and tales about the bravery of the soldiers and civilians who sacrificed their lives.
