Three terrifying tales of the living dead spanning three centuries are collected in this independent horror anthology. The first tale, set in feudal Japan, concerns a samurai and a monk who uncover the secret of resurrecting the dead, only to be faced with an army of marauding corpses. The second story takes place in 1948, as a hard-boiled detective takes on what seems to be a routine missing persons case, only to stumble upon an underground strip club, jaded millionaires, and brilliant but discredited scientist experimenting with raising the dead. And finally, in a blasted future after World War III, gangs of vampires and werewolves engage in bloody turf battles while the surviving military rulers use members of both clubs in special wrestling matches staged for their amusement. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide
