Svelte, distinguished Latinate actress Elvira Mínguez began her career almost exclusively in Spanish-language productions, made in her native Spain, that very infrequently traveled abroad to receive greater exposure. These included the 1994 Dias Contados, the 1999 Me Ilamo Sara, and the 2002 Canicula.
