In this horror story, a couple discovers that their free home is no bargain when it's infested with Satanic beasts. Barry and Susan O'Brien (Aaron Hendry and Michelle Beauchamp) are a young married couple who have just inherited a house. Barry and Susan love their beautiful new home, and they decide to throw a party, partly to show off their digs and partly because Barry, an actor, wants to butter up the producer of a soap opera in hopes that his character won't be killed off. But the O'Briens soon discover that they have to worry about death in the real world when they learn that the previous tenants of the home had brutally butchered each other -- and that a flock of demons are hiding out in one of the closets, waiting to be released so that they can feast on the living. Deadlock marked the writing and directing debut for actor Stuart Chapin, who also appears as Rick. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide
