Dead Boys: Live at CBGB
Transplanted from Cleveland, OH, to New York City during the first blooming of punk rock, the Dead Boys were, after the Ramones, the leaders of the "fast and loud" brigade at CBGB, the leading rock club on the Bowery. Between Cheetah Chrome's ripsaw guitar, Stiv Bators's snarling vocals, and the unrelenting pound of their rhythm section, the Dead Boys were a band who took no prisoners on stage, and this performance video captures the band in action at the height of their powers in 1977. Shot using a professional three-camera setup, Dead Boys: Live at CBGB includes the songs "Sonic Reducer," "What Love Is," "All This and More," "Not Anymore," "Search and Destroy," and more. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide
