Though American pop enthusiasts will invariably associate Crowded House with two late eighties hits - "Don't Dream It's Over" and "Something So Strong" - the band culled a much broader (and more tenacious) following on an international level, despite constant shifts in membership. As led by the Finn brothers, the group issued a long string of singles in Europe and Australia during the '80s and '90s, many of which became instant megahits. House held its final concert in Sydney, Australia c. November 1996; that concert now appears in this home video issue.
