A handsome writer struggles to reveal the truth to the suicidal woman he has fallen for in this intimate Spanish comedy. Though Luis' womanizing ways have found him romancing countless women, a rich older woman's promise to have her book editor husband publish his novel finds him a kept man. The deal goes south, however, and Luis must flee the scene in women's clothing; the situation becomes unfathomably more complicated when, on his way home, Luis meets the beautiful Virginia as she prepares to end her life by jumping from a bridge. After convincing her to abandon her suicidal perch, Virginia invites "Luisa" back to her apartment for a night of personal conversation.
