Jazz saxophonist Bob Wilber pays homage to one of the music's great trailblazers, Sidney Bechet, in this performance video. Bechet was one of the first virtuoso soloists in jazz, and pioneered the use of the clarinet and soprano sax in the New Orleans style, and here Wilber and his ensemble perform a set of vintage jazz standards in the style of the master.
