An idealistic young police officer is drawn into a dark world of corruption and despair in this drama of shattered dreams from award-winning director Prakash Jha. Ajay Shastri (Ajay Devgan) is a young cop living in the Hindi heartland of Bahar and looking to follow in his law-enforcing father's noble footsteps. Just as Ajay's dreams of sharing a blissful life with devoted girlfriend Megha (Bipasha Basu) begin to come into focus, the young cop is shaken to the core by the questionable choices previously made by his father. Where once stood a confident young law-enforcer now stands a broken and disillusioned man whose courage may not provide the strength needed to stare the truth in the eyes. Suddenly thrust into a putrefied pit of lies and lawlessness, Ajay attempts to come to terms with the shocking revelations that threaten to rock his foundation and change his life forever. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide
