Acupressure Massage
Acupressure, the Westernized term for shiatsu, is the practice of finger pressure massage on the energy meridans of the body. Applying pressure on these points frees the flow of chi, or vital life energy. Tension in muscles (usually stemming from stress) blocks chi, which may contribute to such health problems as arthritis, back pain, headaches, PMS, and many immune disorders. According to teachings and practices of thousands of years, acupressure massage can relieve the symptoms of these ailments safely and naturally. In this video, Living Arts presents the techniques of acupressure massage in a simple and easy to learn program. A self-massage segment is included in this introductory video. ~ Heather M.
