After seven lucky years in the get-rich-quick video game business, Nintendo's Wario is taking on some new employees. Players can go to work for the grumpy garlic-lover, creating their own fast-paced mini-games in WarioWare: D.I.Y. Following the themes of earlier WarioWare games (on GBA, GameCube, and Wii, as well as DS), D.I.Y. casts players as junior "microgame" designers, working at the studio run by Mario's famously greedy counterpart. The game's quick-fire microgames -- mini-games that can be played completely through in just a few seconds -- are similar to those in earlier editions of WarioWare, with lo-tech graphics and sound effects, and one simple goal in each activity. After learning the basics in the game's tutorial mode, players can head to the "My House" area, where they design their own games. Virtual developers can choose from a wide selection of graphics, in the diverse styles featured in previous WarioWare games. To add music, players can hum or sing into the DS microphone, and the software will convert their melodies into game music, with the option to use different voices and effects. Like any real game producer, Wario's only real worry is the bottom line, so players' final job is to head to the "My Shop" area, where they can design their own market-friendly game cassettes, with hand-drawn artwork and other decoration. Based on the popular public TV show, America's Test Kitchen: Let's Get Cooking offers 300 recipes to gamers who are curious about cuisine. Step-by-step instructions are designed to get the entire family involved, and adjustable settings offer age-appropriate kitchen tasks for each participant. All 300 recipes were created by experts from America's Test Kitchen, and the game lets each member of the cooking team rate each meal. A search function allows users to sort recipes by rating, ingredients, difficulty, prep time, and calorie count, while prompts, how-to videos, and audible instructions are available for players who aren't experienced chefs. Cartoonish army tank characters go to war above a battlefield full of colorful blocks in Squishy Tank. Presented with a tongue-in-cheek military theme and played in a touch-screen grid of rows and columns, the game revolves around block-busting action puzzles. Players tap blocks of a certain color, and if at least two other blocks of the same color are adjacent, all touching blocks of that same color are blasted from the screen, allowing new blocks to fall in from above. It is seldom difficult to find a stylus tap that will remove at least some of the blocks from the screen, so the challenge comes in removing the most blocks as possible with each tap before a timer runs out. Players are often presented with more specific challenges, such as having to removing a certain number of blocks of several different colors in succession, without removing others along the way. As they succeed in blasting blocks from the screen, meeting challenges, and clearing levels, players earn new tanks and special powers to help them solve the game's later, more difficult puzzles. Meanwhile, between "Story Mode" levels, an amusingly convoluted tale unfolds in the upper screen, featuring the cute little tank characters and plenty of self-referential video game humor. Cheer We Go is a hands-on rhythm-action game, in which players use touch-screen controls to direct cheerleading motions and routines. Players take the role of a high school girl on the squad, and have opportunities to make new cheerleader friends, learn new steps, and unlock additional uniforms, as they play through the plot and master increasingly complicated routines. Lighthearted mini-games and romantic side-stories add to the game play. Two Cheer We Go players can connect wirelessly to team up in multiplayer dance routines. Stitch Jam lets gamers join Disney's blue alien experiment as he travels from the tropical beaches of Hawaii to the outer reaches of space on a quest to save his girlfriend Angel from the clutches the evil Dr. Hamsterviel. Players guide their favorite furry character to run through a city-sized hamster habitat game world, uncovering new areas, and unlocking new items and power-ups. Players can choose from nine main ZhuZhu Pets characters: Patches, Nugget, Winkie, Jilly, Scoodles, Pipsqueak, Mr. Squiggles, Chunk, and Num Nums. Hudson Soft continues its series of mini-game ten-packs with an all-new suite of stylus-based activities for handheld gamers in Deca Sports DS. Competitions include single events, tournaments, challenges, and a "League" mode in which players take on six teams in a contest that includes: Arm Wrestling, Wall Climbing, Clay Shooting, Cheerleading, Sky Diving, Ping Pong, Bobsled, Rugby, Golf, and the foot volleyball game Sepak Takraw. A "Team Editor" lets gamers choose the colors, name, emblem, and physical appearance of their team, while the "Tutorial" mode explains the rules of each activity. Inspired by the Disney feature film directed by Tim Burton, Alice in Wonderland for Nintendo DS follows the story of Alice, as she returns down the rabbit hole to the magical land she visited as a child. The game is a side-scrolling action-adventure, with stylized cartoonish graphics. It features exploration and light combat, with a system that allows Alice to gain additional powers and abilities as she conquers challenges and progresses through the story. In some levels, gamers can also play as Alice's Underland allies, including the Mad Hatter, the White Rabbit, and the Cheshire Cat, making use of each character's distinct abilities in combat or exploration. As in the original Lewis Carroll stories, things are seldom what they first appear to be in the underground world known as Wonderland, and some of the game's most demanding puzzles involve optical illusions and other tricky visuals. Additional features that make use of the built-in camera become available when the game is played in a DSi handheld. Ragnarok DS is a handheld counterpart to the online computer game of the same title, set in a realm based on the Ragnarok Korean comic series, inspired by Norse mythology. The game follows a well-defined single-player storyline, set in the world of the "massively multiplayer" version of the game for PCs. Players take control of a brave young man with a tragic past, destined to save a world on the brink of chaos. The game can be controlled almost completely with the touch screen, as players tap, slash, and draw other simple symbols to guide their characters in exploration and combat.

The adventure leads the hero through the enormous Mirage Tower, where more than 50 floors of randomly generated maps hold dangerous monsters and glorious treasures. As they earn experience, characters have the opportunity to gain new abilities by specializing in one of 17 jobs, such as swordsman, archer, magician, or thief. Players can also choose to become Dark Knights or Shamans, two specialty jobs not featured in the original computer version of the game. Scene It? Twilight is a game show-styled trivia contest for DS, featuring more than 500 questions taken from the vampire romantic fantasy film by Catherine Hardwicke, based on the novel by Stephanie Meyer. Players compete to provide the most correct answers to a series of questions, which may be based on video, audio clips, or stills taken directly from the feature film. After watching a sequence from the film, players may need to choose the next line spoken, for example, or recognize the events taking place by quickly studying a freeze-frame of the action. As in earlier Scene It? games, designed for use on standard DVD players as well as on home computers and consoles, the controls are extremely simple; the challenge is in recognizing the scenes and remembering the characters or events hinted in the question.
