The Wii Remote provides more realism, with dog commands mimicking the hand signals sent by real-life hunters. The game is divided into five stages, set in six real North American waterfowl preserves. Scoring is determined not just by how many ducks are shot, but also by how many ducks are successfully retrieved by the dogs, and how quickly the dogs work. But man's best friend can get fatigued with too much running, and each dog has its own intelligence level based on the amount of training it has received, so strategy is important. Single- and multiplayer game modes are available. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide

Sudoku Ball Detective
- Platform:
- Nintendo DS
- Release Date:
- 2009
- Rated:

Sudoku Ball Detective combines a selection of grid-based number puzzles with a murder-mystery graphic adventure. As in sudoku puzzles found in books, newspapers, and other video games, the object is to fill in empty boxes on a grid with numerals. Players use logic to deduce the correct numeral to place in each box, according to the way the other boxes are already filled in -- in standard puzzles, each numeral appears only once in any row, column, or box of the grid. With Sudoku Ball, the puzzles are wrapped around a three-dimensional globe that players can rotate. In the DS edition, players can enter numbers into the puzzle by writing them directly on the touch screen. In the game's story mode, puzzles are tied together with a mystery storyline, presented in a style reminiscent of a Sherlock Holmes adventure or an Agatha Christie novel. Solving sudoku puzzles found around the crime scene reveals clues and evidence that can help players solve the mystery. In addition to the puzzles featured in the 20-level mystery adventure, the game offers stand-alone puzzles and other modes of number-crunching play. Three difficulty settings are available, to accommodate players of a wide range of gaming skill and experience. ~ T.J. Deci, All Game Guide

The Bigs 2
- Platform:
- PlayStation 2
- Release Date:
- 2009
- Rated:

Superhuman catches, sizzling fastballs, and exploding signs return to PlayStation 2 in dramatic style with this sequel to 2007's sleeper hit baseball game. Building on the fast-paced, arcade-like play mechanics from the over-the-top original, The Bigs 2 adds new features designed to give fans more options on and off the diamond. A new season mode, complete with stat tracking, lets you guide your favorite MLB team through its complete 162-game schedule. You can also create a player from scratch in the "Be a Legend" mode and work your way from the Mexican league to the Majors. Throughout the story-driven campaign, you'll engage in boss battles with baseball's past and present stars for a shot at reaching Cooperstown.
One of the key diversions from 2007's game, Home Run Pinball, returns with three new venues, including the streets of Las Vegas and Tokyo, as well as the option to rack up points cooperatively with a friend. Other mini-games will test your running and throwing skills in addition to hitting for accuracy and power. While the core gameplay remains the same as in the original, The Bigs 2 offers some new wrinkles in the form of "legendary moves" and the "batter's wheelhouse." The former lets you activate special feats of agility, while the latter is a risk-reward system that has the pitcher trying to diminish a hitter's power in future at-bats by making him miss the ball over his favorite part of the plate. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
