Description of Invizimals

Invizimals for PSP is a creature-collecting game in the spirit of Nintendo's Pokémon franchise. The twist is that instead of looking for creatures while guiding a character across an fantasy realm, you use the included camera attachment to track and capture critters in the real world. Since these animals are invisible to the naked eye, the PSP serves as a tracking device that's used while pointing the camera towards objects in your bedroom, kitchen, and other areas.

Once you hear a signal from the handheld, you must attempt to capture the nearby animal by placing a card down on a flat surface and coaxing the animal into the card's opening. Slap your hand over the card to stun and trap the creature, which will become part of your bestiary. Captured Invizimals can be leveled up by either engaging in real-time combat with a friend's Invizimal or advancing through the game's single-player story missions.
