Favorite Movies:
I'll list a few and you'll get the idea because I'm quite indecisive (in sort of no particular order): Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (a bit obvious from my SN), Pillow Talk, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Some Like it Hot, The Pajama Game, , Paragraph 175, Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed, Clockwork Orange, Thirteen, Ghost World, Almost Famous, American Beauty, Last Tango in Paris, Donnie Darko, Amelie, Billy's Hollywood Screen Kiss, American Graffiti, Big Fish, The Green Mile, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Juno, Secretary, Little Miss Sunshine, Once, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Run Lola Run, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Office Space, Multiplicity, Dazed and Confused, Pulp Fiction, Hedwig and the Angry Itch, The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, In Between Days, Sideways,, Clerks, High Fidelity, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Four Weddings and a Funeral, Sixteen Candles, Say Anything.... I think that gives you favorites from a decent range of categories.

Favorite TV Shows:
Forensic Files, The FBI Files, Sex and the City, TMZ, Colbert Report

Favorite Actors:
Not big on favorites but a few I definitely like are:, both Jake & Maggie Gyllenhaal, Johnny Depp, Jason Schwartzman, Robin Williams

Favorite Directors:
I see films for films not really directors , with the exception of Kevin Smith because I am in love with him, and occasionally Tim Burton because as far as seeing something in the theater goes he tends to not disappoint (except Corpse Bride which was TERRIBLE)

Favorite Movie Quotes:
"28 days... 6 hours... 42 minutes... 12 seconds. That... is when the world... will end. (Donnie Darko)"
"I like pizza. I *like* it! Nobody has sex with my wife but me. & I'll hit you so hard, I'll kill him! (Multiplicity)"
"Sounds like somebody's got a case of the Mondays. Excuse me, I believe you have my stapler... We need to talk about your TPS reports. & The thing is, Bob, it's not that I'm lazy, it's that I just don't care. (Office Space)"
"Paulie Bleeker: 'I still have your underwear.' Juno MacGuff: 'I still have your virginity.' That ain't no etch-a-sketch. This is one doodle that can't be un-did, homeskillet. I'm calling to procure a hasty abortion WHOA DREAM BIG! & Ow, ow, fuckity-ow! (Juno)"
"In bed by nine? That's when life just begins! When love goes wrong, nothing goes right. I think you're the only girl in the world who can stand on a stage with a spotlight in her eye and still see a diamond inside a man's pocket. Don't you know that a man being rich is like a girl being pretty? You wouldn't marry a girl just because she's pretty, but my goodness, doesn't it help? I always say a kiss on the hand might feel very good, but a diamond tiara lasts forever. I can be smart when I need to be. Dorothy, please, a woman never admits her feet hurt & I might as well warn you, flattery will get you anywhere. (Gentlemen Prefer Blondes)"

Dexter is based on the compelling novel "Darkly Dreaming Dexter" by Jeff Lindsay. Orphaned at the age of four and harboring a traumatic secret, Dexter Morgan (Dexter Morgan (Emmy- and Golden Globe- nominated actor Michael C. Hall from "Six Feet Under") is adopted by a police officer who recognizes Dexter's homicidal tendencies and guides his son to channel his gruesome passion for human vivisection in a constructive way - by killing those heinous perpetrators that are above the law or who have slipped through the cracks of justice. A respected member of the police force, a perfect gentleman and a man with a soft spot for children, it's hard not to like Dexter. Based on the acclaimed novel Darkly Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsay, Dexter is a crime drama about Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall), a man who leads a double life as an incredibly likeable forensics expert for the Miami Police Department and as an emotionless vigilante serial killer. Taught by his foster father (James Remar) to harness his lust for blood and killing, Dexter lives by his own strict moral code -- he only kills murderers who can't otherwise be brought to justice. The irony of Dexter's life is that he works closely as a blood splatter analyst with the very people who hunt his kind -- the homicide department. Dexter's "Regular Joe" front is in full force while working alongside the ill-tempered Sgt. James Doakes (Erik King), who seems to be the only one to sense Dexter's more sinister side; Lt. Maria LaGuerta (Lauren Velez), the head of the division; and Det. Angel Batista (David Zayas), whose similar attention to detail and taste for forensics almost mirrors his own. While his sister Debra Morgan (Jennifer Carpenter), a tough and determined cop, leans on Dexter for personal advice and career advancement, the person Dexter connects with most is his emotionally damaged girlfriend Rita (Julie Benz), who keeps him grounded. In 2007's Season 2, Dexter begins to doubt his murderous capabilities and continues to be haunted by his past. His difficulties multiply when evidence of his deadly after-hours activities begin to surface and the FBI is brought in to investigate the city's new serial killer dubbed the "Bay Harbor Butcher." The four-disc set contains all 12 Season 2 episodes that aired on cable network Showtime, along with extras such as a podcast, interview, and more.

Ben Stiller's satirical look at Hollywood, Tropic Thunder concerns the production of an epic Vietnam War film that quickly derails thanks to the giant egos of everyone involved in the production. Stiller stars as Tugg Speedman, an action hero trying to segue out of that genre. Jack Black plays Jeff Portnoy, a drug-addicted fat comic also attempting to change his image by taking on such a serious film. They star alongside Kirk Lazarus (Robert Downey Jr.), one of the world's most awarded actors, and a man who insists on immersing himself totally in a role. In this case, that means Lazarus has had his skin dyed in order to portray an African-American soldier. After their outrageous behavior lands the film's director, Damien Cockburn (Steve Coogan), in very hot water with producer Les Grossman (Tom Cruise), Cockburn takes the advice of grizzled Vietnam vet Four Leaf Tayback (Nick Nolte); in order to gain control of his performers, Cockburn drops the actors off in the jungle, planning to film the movie guerrilla-style with hidden cameras. When the group stumbles upon a heroin production camp, the actors are unaware that they are in very real danger. ~ Perry Seibert, All Movie Guide

In desperate need of a vacation after being unceremoniously dumped by his TV-star girlfriend, a man travels to a lavish Hawaiian resort to nurse his wounds and forget his heartache, only to discover that his ex and her handsome new boyfriend are currently staying at the exact same island hot spot. Peter Bretter (Jason Segel) may be just another struggling musician, but for the past six years he's been dating Sarah Marshall (Kristen Bell), one of the hottest stars on television. Sarah is everything in the world to Peter, so when she kindly but firmly tells him that they should each go their separate ways, he is absolutely devastated. Later, after attempting to salvage his ego by awkwardly attempting to become a womanizer and nearly losing his job because of a nervous breakdown, an emotionally fragile Peter attempts to put the past behind him by escaping to the sun-soaked beaches of Oahu. While at first it seems as if Peter has discovered the perfect prescription for a bad case of lost love, his plan soon turns to dust when Sarah and her new rock-star boyfriend, Aldous (Russell Brand), turn up at the exact same resort. Though accepting Sarah's lavish new lifestyle won't be easy for the crestfallen Peter, the laid-back companionship of flirtatious resort employee Rachel (Mila Kunis) -- not to mention a continuous regimen of fruity cocktails -- goes a long way in mending the wounds of a broken heart. Forgetting Sarah Marshall was penned by Segel and produced by Judd Apatow. Fun with Dick and Jane screenwriter Nicholas Stoller makes his directorial debut. The cast also includes Paul Rudd, Bill Hader, Jack McBrayer, and Jonah Hill. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide
