Trapped in a black-hole alternate reality, Dylan Hunt (Kevin Sorbo) hovers between life and death. As the crew desperately tries to rescue him, Dylan is given the opportunity to see what his life could have been like -- including an astonishing domestic interlude with a wife (Cynthia Preston) and child (Ryan Drescher). Though fundamentally a "new" story, this one also qualifies as a "clip show," accommodating highlights from earlier Andromeda episodes. "The Things We Cannot Change" originally aired on April 8, 2002. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

While escaping the forces of Ogami, Dylan (Kevin Sorbo), Rommie (Lexa Doig), Tyr (Keith Hamilton Cobb) and Harper (Gordon Michael Woolvett) are rescued by an archaic-looking space vehicle. It turns out that the rescue ship is an exploratory vehicle launched from Earth 3000 years ago. The ship's crew is still alive and unaltered, thanks to the ship's incredible speed. Alas, the vehicle's inability to perform slipstream travel may mean that the four Andromeda crew members are marooned forever with the Earthlings. The only hope lies in the possibility that the exploratory craft's power may be able to regenerate the disabled Maru--but this operation had better be completed before the disgruntled Earth crew foments a mutiny. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

While approaching the treacherous Gallaphron defense zone, Dylan (Kevin Sorbo) and his crew pick up refugees from a repressive planet. Those refugees turn out to be escapees from an insane asylum--but are they truly insane, or are they merely the political prisoners whom they claim to be? The answer lies in the actions of the refugee's leader, Angelika (Krista Rae)...if indeed she is Angelika. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

A woman starting a new life discovers her old life won't go away so easily in this action-drama. Emotionally devastated, Cosgrove turned her back on the government, assumed a new identity, and began a new life. However, she unwittingly becomes involved with a group of people who have been backed into a corner by crime kingpins. Cosgrove feels compelled to help them, but by doing so, she finds herself in deeper than she expected, and tips her hand to her former colleagues, who now want to silence her permanently. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi

Hoping to purge himself of the Magogs that have infested his body, Harper (Gordon Michael Woolvett) conducts a dangerous experiment. Things go awry, and as a result, the past, present, and future collide, resulting in permanent changes within both Andromeda and the crew -- as good an excuse as any to test out a few cosmetic and costume alterations amongst the series regulars. This episode represents the final Andromeda appearance by Brent Stait (Rev Bem), who was forced to leave the show because he'd developed an allergy to his facial makeup (though the script comes up with a more dramatically compelling reason for his departure). "Ouroboros" first aired on January 28, 2002. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

The third time's the charm for terror in the sky in this action-packed drama. Rock superstar Slade Craven has decided to hang up his rock & roll shoes and has planned something very special for his final show -- instead of a typical concert in some sports arena, he'll play a set aboard a 747 jumbo jet, flying from Los Angeles to Toronto, with the gig broadcast live to millions of fans over the Internet. But what Craven didn't count on is the presence of a deranged fan with a gun who attempts to hijack the plane, throwing the show into chaos and putting the lives of everyone aboard the jet at risk. Turbulence 3: Heavy Metal stars Rutger Hauer, Joe Mantegna, Craig Sheffer, and Gabrielle Anwar.

In hopes of figuring out the Hanen's secret, copies of the original "jumpers" are created by earth scientists, to be tested throughout the universe. But for the experiment to be successful, either the actual Hanen jumper has to be destroyed, or its duplicate. This places Burr in a grave dilemma when he may be forced to kill Kamala (Linnea Sharples), a "jumper" with whom he has fallen in love. The protagonist of this made-for-TV techno-thriller is Terri (Gigi Rice), a single mom who works in one of those offices where everyone has a computer terminal wired to the "hottest" sites on the web. Evidently one of Terri's co-workers is a little more computer-literate than the next. It is this mystery man who, using the handle "Cybergod," has inaugurated a campaign of terror aimed at our heroine. But is this online stalker the person who Terri strongly suspects, or someone whom she would never in a million years consider to be a dangerous predator? Whatever the case, an ex-cop named Jones (Ed Marinaro), whose partner was murdered by the selfsame Cybergod, declares his intention to solve the mystery and save Terri from a similar demise. Watch for familiar Howard Stern sidekick Robin Quivers in a supporting role. Deadly Web first aired April 15, 1996, on NBC. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

The made-for-TV Falling From the Sky: Flight 174 was based on a true story that occurred high over Canada in July of 1983. While en route from Montreal to Edmonton, a brand-new Boeing 767 runs out of fuel in mid-flight. With only a cursory knowledge of the jet's inner works, the crew is forced to desperately improvise a means of rescuing the passengers by gliding the aircraft to a runway in Winnipeg--35 miles away. Although the actual story has enough inherent drama for five TV movies, the producers felt the necessity to add a few overly melodramatic touches to heighten the suspense; also, aviation enthusiasts weren't too happy with the script's inaccuracies, nor were movie purists impressed by the surprisingly shoddy computer enhanced special effects. Nonetheless, the film boasts excellent performances, especially from William Devine as Captain Bob Pearson. First broadcast by ABC on February 20, 1995, Falling From the Sky was adapted from William and Marilyn Hoffer's book Freefall, and has since been retitled Freefall: Flight 174 for cable-TV play. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi
