A deliberately campy remake of a Roger Corman low-budget sci-fi outing from 1957, this horror film tells the gruesome story of a bloodthirsty alien who comes to our planet looking to replenish his planet's declining food supply. ~ Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide
Shortly after The Terminator wrote his name in bold neon lights across box-office grosses, this action thriller took advantage of the hitherto (almost) unexploited comic side of star Arnold Schwarzenegger and paired him with Rae Dawn Chong. Colonel Matrix (Schwarzenegger) is retired and living peaceably with his 10-year-old daughter when she is kidnapped by the henchmen of an exiled Latin American dictator. The dictator's plan is to reinstate himself in power by eliminating the president of his country, using Matrix to kill him (or he will kill the kidnapped daughter). Matrix escapes from the plane that is supposed to be carrying him to his mission and then proceeds to go from one violent confrontation to the next as he hunts down the dictator and moves to rescue his daughter. Helping him is Cindy (Chong), who has her own reasons for wanting the dictator dead. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, All Movie Guide

- Arnold Schwarzenegger, Rae Dawn Chong, (more)
This routine actioner is about several models caught in a South American jungle battle between drug lords and drug busters. Cesar (Paul L. Smith) and Don Vito (John Vernon) are about to conclude a cocaine deal in Peru, and a drug enforcement agent is about to bust both men by sending a secret agent, disguised as a model, into the jungle with several other models, a photographer (Nina Van Pallandt), and their manager (Marjoe Gortner). Cesar shoots down the plane carrying the models, captures them alive and unharmed, and keeps them imprisoned where they are tortured by his evil sister (Sybil Danning). Just as everything looks the darkest, the final battle arrives at last. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, All Movie Guide

Navin Johnson, the consummate idiot, returns in this remake of Steve Martin's popular 1979 film The Jerk. As in the first, Johnson, the lily white adoptee of a black sharecropper sets out across the country in search of true love. This version was designed as a pilot for a TV series that never materialized. ~ Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide
In this plotless, mindless chase movie, papa Big Enos and son Little Enos (Pat McCormick and Paul Williams) hire Cletus (Jerry Reed) to haul a Jaws-replica shark from Miami to Texas to advertise their new seafood restaurant. There is big money in it for Cletus if he can get to Texas on time. Buford T. Justice (Jackie Gleason) mistakes Cletus for his old nemesis the Bandit (Burt Reynolds, who only appears briefly at the end of the film), postpones his retirement, and with his inept son Junior (Mike Henry) in tow, chases Cletus across the South for a disconnected series of misadventures and bad jokes. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, All Movie Guide

- Jackie Gleason, Jerry Reed, (more)
In this sophomoric sci-fi parody of sci-fi movies, a group of curvaceous space aliens travel from Betelgeuse (the location of their home planet) to Earth in search of the hunky human men they need to revitalize their race. The film is also known as Outer Touch. ~ Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide

- Barry Stokes, Tony Maiden, (more)
Handyman Bob (Barry Stokes) and his wife Margaretta (Penny Meredith) move into a new town, and as Bob sets up shop doing odd jobs and repairs, he discovers that more than a few of his neighbors are a bit on the eccentric side, including a clumsy policeman named Knowles (Chic Murray), a sexually adventurous schoolmarm (Sue Lloyd), and Squire Bullsworthy (Bob Todd), who has more than a passing interest in corporal punishment. Handsome Bob also finds he's a fast favorite with the local housewives, who seem to have more than small repairs on their minds. This saucy British comedy was later re-released under the title Confessions of a Handyman, though it is otherwise unrelated to the popular "Confessions Of ..." comedies starring Robin Askwith. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide

- Barry Stokes
In this vintage bit of British sexploitation, Henry (Roger Lloyd-Pack) is a successful architect who has begun to lose control of his all-consuming desire for women. When assigned to design a new pair of housing blocks, Henry gets the rather eccentric notion that they should be modeled after a woman's breasts. Thus begins a frantic, obsessive search for the perfect "models" for his design, leading him through personal ads, pick-ups, street tramps, and screenings of "adults-only" films in his never-ending quest. Director Alan Birkinshaw later went on to more respectable work, helming television productions and a pair of Edgar Allan Poe adaptations, House of Usher and Masque of the Red Death. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide
