An Indian couple Krishna and Jayamma give birth to a son that, due to a severe facial deformity, causes him to resembles his namesake -- the elephant-headed Hindu god Ganesh. Such serendipity (or is it divine intervention?) pushes the family into the media spotlight. But will it lead to the help they need?
