Giacomo Puccini's enduring opera of love and tragedy among a group of footloose bohemians has been captured for home viewing on this video release. In La Bohème, artist Marcello and writer Rodolfo share a flat in Paris's Latin Quarter and struggle to keep body and soul together as they follow their respective muses. Rodolfo falls in love with a beautiful but frail young woman named Mimi, while Marcello renews his romance with Musetta, who has since become the mistress of an older, wealthier man.
