Steven Chase (William Zipp) is a naive jogger who runs across a dying man with a gun in this low-budget action thriller. With his dying breath, the man hands Steven the gun and says "you're it." Steven is now in a deadly urban game of cat-and-mouse as he is chased by a corporate killer known only as "The Chairman" (C.T. Collins). Christine Crowell plays Steven's ill-fated sister, with Bainbridge Scott as heroine Diana Lewis. ~ Dan Pavlides, All Movie Guide

This low-budget action film from genre specialist David A. Prior stars Lynda Aldon as Rachael McKenna, the sexy blonde leader of a group of female prisoners hired by the CIA to bring down renegade agent John Mickland (William Zipp). The film presents itself as a distaff variation on The Dirty Dozen, as tough Sgt. Roberts (cult favorite Edy Williams) trains the convicts for jungle warfare in Colombia, but it cannot come close to its model in either excitement or spectacle. Peopled with a cast of former television actors including Edd Byrnes and Gail Fisher, Mankillers is the sort of film insomniacs might choose as an alternative to medication, but it offers little chance of success. Filmmaker Lizzie Borden appears as a drug smuggler. ~ Robert Firsching, All Movie Guide

Low-budget filmmaker Mark Pirro (A Polish Vampire in Burbank) directed this satirical comedy which heavily echoes The Running Man. Unctuous emcee Chuck (John McCafferty) hosts a television gameshow called Live or Die, in which convicted felons compete for the right to escape execution. As in most of Pirro's films, bathroom humor outweighs the occasionally clever parodies of popular culture. Debra Lamb and Conrad Brooks co-star. The director made Curse of the Queerwolf the same year. ~ Robert Firsching, All Movie Guide
