This sequel to the 2000 cable movie Au Pair finds wannabe executive Jenny Morgan (Heidi Lenhart) still working as the nanny for the children of widowed CEO Oliver Caldwell (Gregory Harrison). Oh, and Jenny and Oliver still aren't married, and are keeping their romance a secret for fear of offending Oliver's imperious mother-in-law Nell Grayson (June Lockhart). The BIG COMPLICATION this time around attends the merger between Caldwell's firm and the company run by zillionaire Carl Sennhauser, whose avaricious grown children Cassandra (Rachel York) and Michael (Robin Dunne) intend to use Jenny to financially ruin Oliver. As before, Oliver's kids Alex (Jake Dinwiddie) and Kate (Katie Volding) come to the rescue of practically everyone--and in the bargain, they continue playing matchmaker for their dad and their nanny. Also looming large in the scheme of things is Carl Sennhauser's precocious grandniece Brigitte (Celine Massuger). This is a collection of 12 student film projects of varying lengths. Some of them are story films, others are documentaries. Among the documentary films, one shows daily life in an urban ghetto, another looks at problems of homosexuals. The story films include a thriller about a baby-sitter trying to deal with an obscene phone call. The plot of this retrograde softcore film starts off when two American low-budget, sexploitation filmmakers arrive in Greece looking for females (whether for their filming or their own amusement does not seem to be relevant). A fellow named Scott (Brad Zutaut) tags along, and when all is said and done, transfers his affections from his fiancée to a woman waiting tables on the island of Rhodes. Part of the 88-minute running time here is devoted to a floating classroom with semi-nude students, the other part is dedicated to the filming of the sexploitation feature and the adventures of a few minor characters. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, All Movie Guide

Jane Doe:The Wrong Face is one of several Hallmark Channel TV-movies starring Lea Thompson as Simi Valley housewife and mom Kathy Davis (Lea Thompson), who unbeknownst to her neighbors occasionally moonlights as an undercover special agent and "problem solver" for the NSA. Kathy is summoned by her NSA superior Frank Darnell (Joe Penny) to tackle the mysterious kidnapping of Caroline Raphaelson (Roxanna Zal), wife of crusading prosecutor Phil Raphaelson (John Rubinstein). No one ever saw anyone entering or leaving the room in the health spa from which Caroline, who'd been undergoing cosmetic surgery, was snatched. Still, the fact remains that a ransom demand has been made, said demand being that Caroline's husband arrange for the release of Ray Jackson (Michael Bailey Smith), a shady construction executive being held on a money-laundering rap. Complicating Kathy's investigation is Jackson's staunch insistence that he is innocent and that he completely disapproves of the kidnapping, and the subsequent disappearance of the 16-year-old girl who'd impersonated Caroline while the abduction was allegedly taking place. During their time together on the amorous adventure, they meet a variety of beautiful women, some others looking to do them harm, and pop star Avril Lavigne. Convicted of murdering his father, 17-year-old Eric Stoltz is sentenced to death. While in prison, Stoltz begins a pen-pal correspondence with fortysomething prostitute Monica Carrico. A long distance romance results, culminating in Carrico helping Stoltz escape from death row. When he finally makes it to the outside, it turns out that Stoltz was innocent all along-and a fat lot of good this does him. Broadcasting a plea to everyone on Earth, Marion is successful in bringing a whopping 350 million cards to Craig's door -- and yes, one of those cards provides the key for Craig's ultimate salvation. A Los Angeles defense attorney discovers that in order to marry the love of his life, he'll first have to convince her rugged father that all lawyers aren't sharks. James White (Jeremy London) is a successful young lawyer who will soon be happily married if all goes as planned. Deeply in love with country-bred doctor Sadie Ryder (Dorie Barton), James plans on asking for his true love's hand in marriage when the pair head back to rural Pine Gap to celebrate Christmas with her family. Trouble is, Sadie's gruff father Karl (James Gammon) doesn't care much for city boys, and the less said about his opinion of lawyers the better. Over the course of the next week, James is prepared to do everything in his power to win Karl over, whether it be baling hay with the good old boys or heading out for the hunt despite the fact that he's never fired a gun. All the while, Sadie's well-meaning Aunt Trudy (Sally Struthers) does her best to convince her niece to date a real man, like the girl's rough-and-tumble high school sweetheart Clint (John Littlefield). Later, when a group of environmentalists hatch a plan to turn the county into a national park, it appears that the days of Ryder Ranch may be numbered. While James realizes that a good lawyer to help get the family out of their current jam, he realizes that Sadie's father isn't willing to listen to reason. Still determined to impress Karl and win Sadie's hand in marriage, James hastily sets out into the wilderness in order to prove that he can live off the land with the best of them.
