German filmmaker Siggi Gotz has been responsible for such deathless classics as Two in Seventh Heaven and Sex on the Rocks. To be fair, Gotz has occasionally turned out harmless musical romances, but for the most part he has trafficked in soft-core erotica. Summer Night Fever falls into the latter category. Its title obviously inspired by John Travolta's Saturday Night Fever, the films details various carnal couplings during the course of a hot (and we mean hot) summer evening. Participants in the ribald revelry include Claudine Bird, Bea Fiedler, Gianni Garko, Jacques Herlin, Stephane Hillel and Claus Obalski. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

In this sex comedy, an unusually good-looking German girl goes on vacation in Greece, and a large number of people try to get her to go to bed with them. With a light, teasing manner, she turns all of them down, until at last she meets a boy she really likes. ~ Clarke Fountain, Rovi

In this summer drama, three young women take jobs as fruit pickers. One of them is a tease, one is a tough-girl, and one is incurably romantic. As they work in the summer's heat they find themselves increasingly attracted to their handsome co-workers. Hot love ensues as they all pair off. Unfortunately, their summer fun is spoiled by the death of one of the men. When not making love, the young people are involved in staging a successful strike. ~ Sandra Brennan, Rovi
