Lucille Brown Movies

Lucille Brown was only five and living in an orphanage when she was discovered by movie mogul Hal Roach who cast her as Farina in his "Our Gang" comedies. She played the role for about a year. Later she played minor roles in several all-African American films during the '30s and '40s. Lucille Brown spent many years singing and dancing as the headliner of Babe Barlow and the Sugar Drops. ~ Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide
