Love brings together two men who aren't sure where to fit a relationship into their lives in this romantic drama. Living in the oceanfront working-class community of San Pedro, Zach (Trevor Wright) is a young man in his early twenties who has been forced into the role of emotional anchor for his dysfunctional family; his mother his dead, his father is too ill to work, his sister Jeannie (Tina Holmes) is too busy partying to look after her five-year-old son Cody (Jackson Wurth), and Zach is the only one with the wherewithal to hold down a job and keep the rent paid. He's sacrificed his dream of attending CalArts in order to help Jeannie raise Cody. Between cooking at a diner and looking after Cody, Zach has little in the way of spare time, but as often as he can he heads to the beach to indulge his passion for surfing. While hanging out with his surfing buddy Gabe (Ross Thomas), Zach meets Gabe's brother, the struggling homosexual writer Shaun (Brad Rowe), who has taken a break from Tinseltown while rebounding from a dysfunctional relationship. Shaun goes surfing with Zach one day, and the two discover they're powerfully attracted to one another, and a flirtation turns into a love affair. As Shaun has to explain to his girlfriend why he no longer wants to be with her, Zach tries to make Jeannie and his father understand why he's come out of the closet. The inimitable 'master of the slow burn,' Paul Lynde (1926-82), is best known as the star of such hit television series as The Perry Como Show, Bewitched and Hollywood Squares, and such movies as Son of Flubber and Send Me No Flowers. Now, the comedian and acclaimed celebrity impersonator Michael Airington plays Lynde in the one-man-show An Evening with Paul Lynde available in this home video release. In the vein of Secret Honor and Mark Twain Tonight, Airington takes his audience on a fun-filled trip through the highs and lows of Paul Lynde's life, via confessional monologue - from his big-screen debut in New Faces of 1952, through his Broadway turn in Bye Bye Birdie (the film has Airington launching into a number from that production) and his thirteen years on the daytime version of Hollywood Squares. Amid the laughter, Airington periodically highlights the loneliness and sadness at the center of Lynde's life, which undergirds the hilarity with a certain poignance. ~ Nathan Southern, All Movie Guide

After she is savagely attacked by a rapist, blind lawyer Diana Scott (Jamie Luner) is determined to help the police nail the perpetrator. Using her heightened non-visual senses, she narrows the search down to one Malcolm Humphries (Tood Sandomirsky), who on the bais of Diana's testimony is thrown into prison. While thus incarcerated, Malcolm meets fellow con Anthony Davis (Thomas Mitchell), who freely boasts that it was he who attacked Diana. Ultimately, DNA testing proves that Malcolm is innocent, whereupon a mortified Diana tries her best to make amends. However, any hopes for a early happy denoument are dashed when Anthony Davis escapes, fully intending to brutalize Diana all over again! 16-year-old Lindsay Dearborn (Brooke Nevin) is "Too Cool for Christmas" (the original title of this made-for-cable comedy), and wants no part of the family celebration being planned by her two male homosexual parents (Michael Gelbart, Barclay Hope) and her kid sister Alexa (Jodelle Ferland. Nope, Lindsay is gonna spend the holidays skiing with her best buds, and that's the way it is. Her disdain for the Yuletide season comes to surface at the mall, where she disses a department store Santa Claus (played by George Hamilton--no kidding!) for his tacky beard and out-of-date clothing. Surprisingly, Santa agrees with Lindsay and asks her to help him undergo a complete "fashion makeover" so that he can win back the affections of Mrs. Claus (played by Donna Mills-and we're still not kidding!) Out of sympathy for the old guy, Lindsay does what he asks, then is informed that he's the genuine, bonafide, not-a-phony Santa Claus--and further, that he needs her help to deliver all his presents on Christmas Eve. Agreeing on the condition that she'll be back in town in time to go skiing, Lindsay embarks upon the thrill ride of her life--and in the course of the long winter's night, she learns a few lessons about the true meaning of Christmas. Long concerned over safety issues at the mine, Pat finds that her worries are confirmed when a cave-in occurs, trapping seven workers. Among those entombed are Pat's own husband Chief (Ted Shackelford) and their son Rabbit (Ben Castles). With the oxygen supply running out -- and water surging into the mine's tunnel -- Pat feverishly oversees the Herculean rescue efforts, battling every inch of the way with the "instinct over technology" policies of the mine's former superintendent, her own father Cappy (Bruce Allpress). All this changes when Jake joins forces with his estranged TV-weatherperson daughter Dee (Thea Gill) and his former protégé Mark Scott (Steve Braun) to prevent the wholesale destruction of a town smack-dab in the middle of a tornado's path. Also in the cast is Joan Van Ark as the town's politically ambitious mayor, who insists upon throwing a huge vote-raising party despite impending disaster from the skies. Overhearing his parents Stephanie and David Carver having a heated argument, young Justin Carver (Cole Sprouse) retreats to his bedroom. Unaware that mom's hirsute "lover" is actually his own father, David (Corbin Bernsen), who has dressed up as Santa in hopes of getting back in Stephanie's good graces, Justin is convinced that his parents' marriage is on the rocks -- just like the recently shattered union of his best friend's parents. Further convinced that jolly old Saint Nick is the cause of all the marital disharmony, little Justin goes on a one-boy vendetta, physically assaulting every department-store and sidewalk Santa who crosses his path.
