Todd Bridges Movies

Actor Todd Bridges is probably best known as big brother Willis on the classic '80s sitcom Diff'rent Strokes. He was only 13 years old when he was cast in the series in 1978, though he had already cut his teeth in the world of television on shows like Little House on the Prairie and The Waltons. Even before that, Bridges had scored gigs in commercials, and his family had relocated from San Francisco to L.A. to support his young career when he was just six. He stayed with Diff'rent Strokes until 1986, when the series ended, and like a lot of child stars, Bridges had a hard time transitioning into the world of adult acting. He began to struggle with drug problems and trouble with the law, and the struggles forced the actor to move his career to the back burner as he battled to become free of addiction.
With time and work, however, Bridges did surmount his problems and emerged ready to take on the world of acting again. He began a production company with his brother, Little Bridge Productions, and began working behind the camera too, directing 2003's Blackball. Additionally, Bridges has toured the country, speaking at schools on the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse. ~ Cammila Collar, Rovi

Produced for cable's Sci-Fi Channel, Alien Express makes up in speed what it lacks in production finesse. Among the passengers on the maiden trip of a new, streamlined "bullet train" is a collection of millionaires, presidential candidates and beauty contest winners--not to mention a band of eco-terrorists who plan to hijack the train as it streaks nonstop from LA to Vegas at 100 mph. Making matters worse, if such a thing is possible, the train has been invaded by lizardish space aliens, who multiply at an astonishing rate and have a nasty habit of spittig toxing goo at the passengers. And oh, have we mentioned the suicide bomber in the baggage car? Thank heaven that all-purpose detective Vic Holden (Lou Diamond Phillips) is on board to (hopefully) save everyone--including his estranged wife--from villains foreign, domestic and extraterrestrial. Alien Express originally aired on August 13, 2005. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

A politically correct accountant and a womanizing real-estate agent find their lives suddenly thrust into chaos as their generally reliable roommate announces plans to leave while handing over his keys to a beautiful actress and model from New York in a topical comedy about just getting along in life. Despite their current status as housemates, Royce (Ben Watkins) and Damien (Laz Alonso) couldn't be any less alike. Royce is a conservative numbers man whose relationship with a longtime girlfriend has just gone bad, and Damien is an opinionated playboy to whom the word "commitment" simply does not compute. When Royce and Damien's housemate Will (Mailon Rivera) announces that he has found a job in New York and that emerging actress Toni (Shawna Rodgers) will be taking his place on the lease, the duo who can't seem to agree on anything are strangely connected by their mutual discomfort with the situation. Despite some initial misgivings that make adjusting to life on the West Coast somewhat difficult for the former New Yorker, the arrival of Toni's outspoken best friend Nicole (Barri Whittaker) ultimately proves the connecting factor that can bring the reluctant new roommates together during the turbulent transitionary period. Todd Bridges and Reynaldo Rey co-star in a film that's all about dealing with the hand dealt to you by life, no matter how strange it may seem when the cards are first revealed. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
