Kenneth Pressman adapted his play Insider's Price for this turgid and morally-bankrupt motion picture entertainment. Forest Whitaker stars as Dekker, a hit man fed up with his profession and ready to quit -- right after one last job. This last job proves to be the looniest and most gruesome one of all -- an ex-gangster named Zidzyk (Lewis Smith) hires him for a hit. Zidzyk has found God and has set up his tabernacle in a porno parlor. He wants Dekker to ice his wife Jain (Sherilyn Fenn) and their infant child and requests that Dekker bring back a body part to him as proof of purchase. Dekker agrees to the terms and goes to visit Jain, who engages in an extending monologue that captures the heart of Dekker -- if not the audience. When Zidzyk realizes that Dekker is a softy, he hires a second hit man to do the job. Dekker knows his business and is ready to defend Jain and face the second killer. ~ Paul Brenner, Rovi

Chuck "Tiger" Warsaw (Patrick Swayze) returns to the steel town of Sharon, Pennsylvania hoping to be reunited with his estranged family after 15 years. He spent his time away from home in Miami in a perpetual fog of drugs and alcohol and is struggling to remember what prompted his departure. Tiger eventually remembers seeing his sister Paula (Mary McDonnell) naked. Her premature and hysterical cries of attempted incest prompted an argument with his father Mitchell (Lee Richardson), and in the melee Tiger shot Mitchell and fled. Upon his return home, Tiger finds that as a result of the shooting, his dad's injuries are such that he can't remember anything except his love for high-school sports. Frances (Piper Laurie) is Tiger's sympathetic mother who along with his former high-school sweetheart Karen (Barbara Williams) and buddy Tony (Bobby DiCicco) readily accepts him. In this western (filmed entirely in New Jersey), two mad hombres ride out to get revenge upon the Indians who raped one of their girlfriends. Along the way they encounter bad guys bullying an old man and his lovely daughter.
