A treacherous Louisiana river is the setting where divorced couple Sanders (Lou Diamond Philips) and Kelly (Kristy Swanson) forget their differences long enough to search for a new source of energy. The couple is joined -- and later waylaid -- by a pair of crooks named Ice (Coolio) and Jerry (Jaimz Woolvett), who are convinced that a cache of stolen loot rests somewhere at the bottom of the river. Before long, everyone is in danger of being sliced and diced by a rogue freshwater shark. Another of the several million Jaws derivations glutting the cable TV airwaves, Red Water at the very least boasts excellent animatronic special effects -- not to mention a dead-body count that would shame a Rambo or Terminator. An upscale shopping mall is targeted by ruthless master thief Scalzetti (Eric Roberts). With a small but well-armed band of henchmen, Scalzetti storms the mall and takes all the Yuletide shoppers hostage. It is up to police lieutenant Cornelius Morgan (Dean Cain), recently suspended from the force, to outwit the villains and rescue the captives. Between 1979 and 1981, 29 African-American children were murdered in Atlanta, GA, leading to a statewide manhunt to find the killer and a considerable outcry from a frightened public. Authorities eventually pinned the child killings on one Wayne Williams, who had been charged with two related murders of adult males. However, several years after Williams had been convicted of the killings of the two men and the case on the child murders had been closed, a pair of investigative reporters began looking into the matter, and discovered clear evidence that the investigation of the Atlanta child killings had been grossly mismanaged, and that in all likelihood Williams had nothing to do with the crimes. Who Killed Atlanta's Children? is a made-for-cable dramatization of the investigation by Pat Laughlin (James Belushi) and Ron Larson (Gregory Hines) as they attempt to find out how Williams (Cle Bennett) came to be railroaded for the child slayings and who the real killer might be. Produced for the Showtime premium cable network, Who Killed Atlanta's Children? also stars Bill Duke, Lynda Gravatt, and Sean McCann. With vengeful state trooper Sgt. Preston (Steve Railsback) and the entire FBI riding his back bumper, Jimmy's only ally is fearless radio DJ The Voice (Jason Priestley) whose outspoken support finds the desperate driver becoming a national folk hero. Through an improbable series of random events, Travanti finds himself accused of murder. His daughter buries her animosity and attempts to clear her father's name. Twenty years after the war, Hauer finds himself waist-deep in gangsters when he tries to help the son (Brandon Call) of an old army buddy. Along the way, he reforms an ex-comrade in arms (Terrance O'Quinn) who was responsible for the accident that blinded him. Just who is seduced in the made-for-TV Seduced? Technically, it is Vicki Orloff (Cybill Shepherd), who once had a torrid affair with attorney Mike Riordan (Gregory Harrison). But when Vicki meets Mike again after several years, it is Riordan who is seduced into a most dangerous situation. Vicki, you see, is now the mistress of multimillionaire James Killian (Jose Ferrer). And when Killian is murdered-well, Mr. Riordan was seen hanging around the murder site.
