Roger Birnbaum headed the Disney-affiliated independent studio Caravan Pictures. As a producer, he and Caravan founder
Joe Roth teamed up to back such films as
Angels in the Outfield (1994) and
While You Were Sleeping (1995). Projects done in conjunction with different producers include
Powder (1995),
First Kid (1996), and
