Fortunately, Danny (Bob Saget) soon comes back home with a bike in tow. Deadbeat dads be damned. Patrick Swayze plays a con man who tries to live up to the ideals of "family values" by kidnapping his son and daughter from the evil clutches of a corrupt orphanage and taking them on a cross-country trip in his vintage convertible. To complicate matters, his daughter has been sexually molested by the head of the orphanage, who fears that she may prosecute if given the opportunity. In this first sequel to 1989's Batman, the Caped Crusader (Michael Keaton) is up against the Penguin (Danny DeVito), the hideously deformed scion of a wealthy Gotham City family. The Penguin plots with evil businessman Max Schreck (Christopher Walken) to become mayor and then turn Gotham into a cathedral of crime. Upon overhearing these plans, Schreck's mousy secretary Selena Kyle (Michelle Pfeiffer) is tossed from a high-rise window by her boss. Rescued by a covey of kittens, Selena transforms into the leather-clad Catwoman. In this guise, she teams with the Penguin and Schreck to divvy up their ill-gotten gains and help discredit Batman-but she also has her own scores to settle. Paul "Pee-Wee Herman" Reubens, Vincent Schiavelli and Jan Hooks play significant bits, while Pat Hingle and Michael Gough make returns as, respectively, Commissioner Gordon and Alfred the Butler. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

In this violent actioner, renegade cop John Bloodstone is put on suspension after he used a blow torch to stop bank robbers. Believing that the volatile Bloodstone is too dangerous and snoopy to keep around, a group of corrupt politicians and crooked G-men engineer a little "accident" for him. It begins when his superiors call him in and assign him to transport notorious crime lord Marrietta Copella to a new prison. It is en route that they are supposed to die. In the conclusion of a two part story, Al (Ed O'Neill) shows up in Las Vegas to bail out Peg (Katey Sagal) and Marcy (Amanda Bearse), who have dropped $5000 at the gambling tables. Seeing the opportunity to re-earn the money and make a $15,000 profit in the bargain, Al agrees to spend three minutes in the ring with The Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling's "Big Bad Momma" (aka Lynn Braxton). Billed in the original ads as "A Wrestling Spectacular", this episode may not quite live up to the hype, but at least it does feature former Playboy centerfold Ava Fabian. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
Harry (Harry Anderson) blanches in fear as Terry Benoon (Don Gibb), the bully who made Harry's childhood miserable, is brought into court as a defendant. When Terry swears vengeance for a long-ago "betrayal", Harry tries to recuse himself from the case, but is unable to escape his destiny when his schoolyard tormentor escapes custody! In the quest to find out whatever prompted a rat to emerge in their newspaper's bathroom, Pam Weiss (Catherine Bach) and Sharon Fields (Charlene Dallas) head down to the tunnels that begin in their building's basement. They imagine all sorts of scenes from horror movies, but instead discover a bunch of murderous real-estate developers. San Francisco detective Jay Austin (Mark Harmon) is assigned to investigate the murder of a female MP at the 212-year-old Presidio army base in this crime drama. Jay must interview Lieutenant Colonel Caldwell (Sean Connery), his former commander from his military days. The two must overcome their past and present differences to track down the killer as they manage to stumble across a smuggling operation relating to the murder. Jay falls for Caldwell's pretty daughter Donna (Meg Ryan), who proves to be as forceful as her father. After winning the heavyweight boxing championship and single-handedly winning the war in Vietnam for America, Sylvester Stallone moves on to a real challenge -- arm wrestling -- in this action drama with a family undercurrent. Lincoln Hawk (Stallone) is a long-haul truck driver who years ago abandoned his wife Christina (Susan Blakely) and their son Michael (David Mendenhall). Hawk comes to see the error of his ways and wants to reconcile with his loved ones, only to discover that Christina is in the hospital suffering through the last stages of a terminal illness. Her wealthy and powerful father, Jason Cutler (Robert Loggia), has come to hate Hawk for the way he left his daughter to fend for herself, and he wants full custody of the boy upon her death. But Hawk is desperate to mend his relationship with Michael. He kidnaps the boy, and as Jason's hired goons give chase, Hawk points his truck toward the one place where he can win the money and recognition that will earn his son's respect -- a wrist-wrestling championship in Las Vegas.
