Football hero Boomer Hayes (Ken Wahl) finds he is in the middle of a looting scheme in this non-stop actioner. Billionaire and owner of LA's pro football team, Bat Masterson (Robert Davi), has arranged a fake toxic chemical spill to provide an opportune situation for his group of ex-cops to plunder an evacuated community in Beverly Hills. Surprised by the state of things when he comes out of the bathroom, Boomer soon grasps the opponent's play and takes it upon his able-bodied self to tackle the situation. Luckily, he not only has the support of his girlfriend, Laura (Harley Jane Kozak), but ex-cop and bad-turned-to-good guy Ed (Matt Frewer) also decides to play on the home-team. With a plethora of explosions and stunts, it shows how the heroes semi-effectively defend their lush neighborhood. ~ Kristie Hassen, All Movie Guide

The plot of this 90-minute (Quincy, M.E.) episode gets under way when a human bone, found at the excavation site for a new college building, is given to medical examiner (and temporary forensics teacher) Quincy (Jack Klugman) as a joke. But it is no laughing matter when, after a little lab work, Quincy determines that the bone was from the body of a murder victim. Much to the dismay of his superiors at the LA County Coroner's Office, Quincy puts his regular duties aside to conduct an investigation which may not only determine the identity of the victim, but also solve a 20-year-old murder. The supporting cast includes two future Lou Grant regulars, Linda Kelsey and Jack Bannon. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

Racing against time, the police desperately seek out clues as to the victim's whereabouts before his oxygen runs out. Joining the hunt is medical examiner Quincy (Jack Klugman), who hopes that a discarded piece of apple will provide enough forensic evidence to save a life. This is one of a handful of second-season Quincy, M.E. episodes deemed worthy of two network rerun showings. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

This graphically violent western features disturbing scenes of rape and torment. It was originally filmed in a triple-X version titled Hard On the Trail and later cut down to this soft-core version that still features much blood and nudity. The film stars the once popular western hero Lash LaRue, who made a sad comeback after a 19-year absence from films with this exploitative pile of road apples. The story centers on LaRue who plays a ruthless sadist hell-bent on learning the location of another cowboy's secret gold mine. To get the map, LaRue has his thugs torture and graphically rape the cowboy's daughter. Things look bleak until the heroic fiance of one of the daughters shows up and kills the thugs. His love is killed in the ensuing gun fight, so he takes the surviving daughter and they ride out for bloody revenge against the wicked gang leader. Tragedy for all ensues. ~ Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide
