A high school class reunion turns bloody when a former student seeks revenge on his classmates in this black comedy. That mayhem would strike this 20-year reunion seems preordained, given that the name of the school is Lizzie Borden High. Little did anyone expect, however, that this trouble would come from Walter Baylor (Blackie Dammett), a social outcast who was the victim of a humiliating senior year practical joke. Now, two decades later, Baylor has escaped from a mental institution to kill off his tormenters one by one. Class Reunion was the first produced screenplay by John Hughes, a National Lampoon writer who would eventually find a highly successful career as a writer, director, and producer of teen-oriented movies. In the first episode of a two-part story, Albert (Matthew Laborteaux) develops a crush on his classmate Sylvia (Olivia Barash), a 14-year-old girl who has developed early. Sylvia's stern father disapproves of Albert's affections and orders his daughter to ignore the boy. Later on, Sylvia is raped by a masked assailant, whereupon her father demands that she keep her "shame" a secret. Black farmer Joe Kagan (Moses Gunn) sells his Walnut Grove property and moves to Sleepy Eye, where he gets a job at the blind school. Joe's primary motivation is his love for schoolteacher Hester-Sue (Ketty Lester), but she would prefer a wealthier and more worldly husband. It's in-law vs. in-law when the Olesons meet the parents of their son-in-law, Percival (Steve Tracy), for the first time. Inevitably, the hidebound Harriet Oleson (Katherine MacGregor) clashes with Percival's Jewish father, Benjamin (E.M. Margolese), over whether or not Nellie (Alison Arngrim) should raise her unborn child as a Jew or a Gentile. This strange movie is about a roller skating fanatic who leaves home, goes to San Francisco to pursue his passion, and then comes up against a troublesome relationship. Andy Steigler (Steve Tracy) gets a low-level job at a large roller rink to be close to his sport. He makes friends with some other employees as well as his landlady, Dottie Butz (Isabel Sanford), but after he meets Olivia (Dana Handler) things go downhill. His feelings are intentionally either mocked or encouraged by the mean-spirited Olivia and before he can resolve what is happening to him, he has a few odd sessions with Dr. Boxer (Christopher Lee), a man who is knowledgeable about dominating relationships. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, All Movie Guide

An emotional crisis develops when Annie's long-lost biological mother shows up in hopes of a reconciliation. In the conclusion of Little House on the Prairie's two-part season-seven opener, the wedding of Laura Ingalls (Melissa Gilbert) and Almanzo Wilder (Dean Butler) is still on hold due to financial problems. When Almanzo's schoolteacher sister, Eliza Jane (Lucy Lee Flippin), has her heart broken by Harv Miller (James Cromwell), she decides to leave town. In the conclusion of a two-part story, Laura (Melissa Gilbert) tries to get over the departure of her fiancé, Almanzo (Dean Butler), by helping her sister Mary (Melissa Sue Anderson) and brother-in-law Adam (Linwood Boomer) set up a new school for the blind in the town of Sleepy Eye. As fate would have it, this is the same town where Almanzo has relocated -- and when she sees her beloved in a compromising situation with a saloon gal, Laura angrily breaks off her engagement. Things change dramatically when Laura discovers a remarkable secret about Almanzo while nursing him through an illness. And Laura's father, Charles (Michael Landon), is prompted to reconsider his insistence that the girl wait until she is 18 to get married. But what of the still-blossoming romance between Nellie Oleson (Alison Arngrim) and Percival Dalton (Steve Tracy)?
